Dr. R. Kenneth Romer has held key executive roles in both the Private and Public Sectors throughout The Bahamas, United Kingdom, Europe, USA and The Caribbean. Nationally and Regionally, he is widely respected in the fields of Academia, Leadership development, Airlines and Luxury Hospitality Management, Tourism, Investments and Aviation Leadership and infrastructural PPP's.
He holds a Doctorate Degree with specializations in Leadership and Organizational Management as well as academic and professional credentials from Harvard University, University of The Bahamas, University of The West Indies, Cornell University, James Madison University, The University of Maryland, University of Queensland Australia and New Covenant University, among others. He holds certifications in both Contract and Aviation Laws , FAA Private Pilot certifications and creating innovative business models.
A Certified Behavioral Analyst and John C. Maxwell Global Coach, Trainer and Speaker, he is a member of The International Institute of Certified Professional Managers, Society of Human Resource Managers, Joint Board of Teacher Education-UWI, Global Sustainable Tourism Council and The American Association of Airport Executives.
The recipient of numerous leadership awards, he continues to serve his God and country through many civic and statutory appointments.
He currently serves as The Director of Aviation and Deputy Director General of Tourism in The Bahamas Ministry of Tourism, Investments and Aviation.
