As Board Chair and CEO of Vantage Airport Group, George Casey is responsible for all aspects of the company's industry-leading approach focused on People, Place and Performance, along with its corporate strategy, growth initiatives, and management of its global airport network.
During his 30 years in senior leadership roles in the airport and aviation sector, Mr. Casey has been involved in capital planning and airport development, finance, operations, commercial management, mergers and acquisitions, and structuring partnerships in almost every region of the world. He has participated in the analysis, assessment, and review of more than 180 airports worldwide under different contractual and governance structures, and overseen more than $12 billion in airport financing in support of capital projects and acquisitions. Working with key stakeholders, Mr. Casey has led some 20 successful airport transactions and chaired or served on more than 16 airport boards of directors worldwide.
Mr. Casey is the former Chair of the Board of LaGuardia Gateway Partners (LGP), the Vantage-led company selected by the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey (PANJNY) to design, build, finance, and manage LaGuardia Airport's Terminal B. Mr. Casey’s pivotal role in structuring public-private partnerships and successful teams has made him a recognized industry expert. He currently serves as the Chair of the Board for JFK Millennium Partners, another Vantage-led company selected by PANJNY to deliver the $4.2 billion development and management of a new international JFK Terminal 6 and management of Terminal 7 at John F Kennedy International Airport.
Prior to joining Vantage, Mr. Casey held senior positions with KPMG, PwC, and Airport Group International, a former Lockheed Martin company. Mr. Casey holds a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautics with a Minor in Business from San Jose State University and has completed graduate level course work in economics and public policy.
