Paulos Lakew serves as Regional Director of Market Analysis at Boeing Commercial Airplanes. He is responsible for development of economic, airline and regulatory research for Commercial Marketing. His work oversees key market trends that shape commercial aircraft demand over the mid-to-long term, including the development of industry market outlooks. Paulos joined Boeing from IATA, where he led the Sustainability and Economics division’s industry analysis and forecasting efforts. Prior to IATA, he held consulting positions at Steer Group and Unison Consulting, providing forecast and economic advisory support for airport master plans and large capital projects. Paulos started his professional career as a transportation economist at the California Air Resources Board. He holds a PhD in Transportation Science from the University of California, Irvine and a BA in Physics from Bard College.Sessions
