Michael Yost is United’s Managing Director of Airport Affairs developing airport strategies and leading infrastructure planning for the airline’s operations. He has worked across many parts of the US and world including large hub airports in New York, Houston, Denver, San Francisco and Los Angeles. Michael’s experiences reinforce the belief that the best mutually beneficial outcomes are based in strong relationships and transparency.
Michael has been in other roles across United including leading the customer solutions and recovery teams which focus on systematic solutions to enable positive customer experiences as well as various roles in marketing and operations.
Michael began his career with United in 2004 after graduating from the University of Michigan with a degree in Industrial & Operations Engineering. Michael lives with his wife Stephanie, and their 2 boys in Chicago.
